St. Marina Church Troop 659 welcomes boys and girls interested in adventure, leadership, service, and personal growth through the Scouting program.

How to Get Started

Families interested in joining Troop 659 should complete the following steps.

  1. Complete the Youth Protection Training for parents (approximately 45 minutes).
  2. Obtain a letter of recommendation from a Father of Confession.
  3. Email the following to Ereinee Abdelmalek:
    • Youth Protection Training certificate
    • Letter of recommendation
    • Scout's name

  4. After the documents are received, you will be sent a link to complete the official Scouting application.

Time Commitment

Troop meetings are held on the first and third Friday of each month from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.

The troop also organizes one activity each month, such as:


Parents help chaperone most activities. Overnight camps are supervised only by registered adult leaders.

Active participation helps scouts stay connected with the troop and advance through the Scouting program.

No. Scouts can join Troop 659 even if they were not previously in Cub Scouts.
